Dr. Sechin is also on the board of TNK-BP Ltd. In his past career Igor Ivanovich Sechin occupied the position of Chairman for Rosneft Oil Co. Chairman for RN Management and President for RN Holding OJSC (both are subsidiaries of Rosneft Oil Co.), Chairman of Inter RAO UES PJSC, Chairman at RN-TSIR, Chairman at The United Shipbuilding Corp. and Chairman at Far Eastern Shipbuilding & Shiprepairing Center JSC. Dr. Sechin received a doctorate from Pushkin Leningrad State University.
