He is also the Head of Fund Governance at Allspring Funds Management LLC since 2009. In addition, he serves as the President of Allspring Income Opportunities Fund, Allspring Utilities & High Income Fund, Asset Allocation Trust, Allspring Multi-Sector Income Fund, and Allspring Global Dividend Opportunity Fund since 2017. Previously, Mr. Owen worked as an Executive Vice President at Wells Fargo & Co. from 2014 to 2021. He also held the position of Portfolio Manager at Allspring Global Investments LLC. From 2009 to 2014, he was an Executive Vice President at Allspring Global Investments LLC and worked as an Executive Vice President at Evergreen Investment Management Co., Inc. Furthermore, Mr. Owen served as the Co-President at Galliard Capital Management LLC from 2019 to 2022 and as the Head-Affiliated Managers at Allspring Global Investments (UK) Ltd. from 2014 to 2019.
